Barbed wire and unattended, gust blown wings DO NOT mix well. Well they do actually, they mix TOO BLOODY WELL! Tear,  shred, tangle and rip with that sickening , finger-nails-down-the-blackboard-screech.  Very similar to bank notes being torn apart by a demented Banshee.

The Loft will profit by my stupidity and hopefully you will too when using Syda Lane in future. Don’t leave the wing on the ground unattended when sudden gusts are lurking! As far as I recall there is barbed wire all around the field, on both sides of the stone walls; three rows per side, waiting to grab any stray wing and NOT LET GO without a long and expensive fight!
