Hi Peakies , just a quick pointer for those not familiar with writing Blog Posts here at PG.
As with all images on a website it’s very important to make them the right size and to compress them as much as possible to speed up loading and ease bandwidth pressure.
Adobe Photoshop is the industry standard for this but there are other programs you can use. If you can’t edit your own images, wang them over to me and I’ll do them for you… no problem:-)
The ideal specs for blog post images are:
- maximum 876 pixels wide
- jpg format
- RGB mode
- compressed below 100kb (lower the better)
To have an image show as a thumbnail on the main Blog Page use the “featured image” option on the right of the blog edit screen.
